An essential in the wardrobe of any discerning wench, my Wench Bodices are made from only the finest upholstery grade damasks and tapestries. This bodice is designed to give you the alluring cinched in silhouette so iconic of the Renaissance period, nipping in your waist and lifting up your bustline. Be sure to pack your sunscreen for faire. You're going to need it! =)

Each bodice is fully reversible to in two different fabrics (see my Available Fabrics page for current options) and is steel boned down the front lacings with high quality steel.  I use a specially engineered boning system to ensure that the steel will never poke out and to further reinforce the lacing grommets for maximum durability. Expect to enjoy your bodice for years with proper care.

There are several different fit types you can request from me, and we all have a different idea of a comfortable fit. What works for some of us is simply too tight or loose for others. With that in mind, I request that you please visit my sizing and measuring pages and familiarize yourself with the technique of measuring properly for your bodice with me. Please also keep in mind that every seamstress has slightly different requests of you, and I really need to you be sure you follow my own guides when measuring. I know it's a pain, but I can only determine proper fit for you based on the information I'm given. Please take the time to be sure it's accurate and ask any questions you have of me before I cut. I assure you, if you follow my guides and give me accurate information, you'll get a bodice you absolutely adore.

Upon receipt of your order, I will send you a detailed list of all of the information I'll need from you, including measurements, your fabric choices, and your choice for the lacing grommets (brass, nickel, or matte black). If you want to be positive I have the fabrics you want in stock, please email me beforehand just to be sure (I try to keep my fabric pages up to date, but during the busy seasons, that may not always be accurate).
