This is my absolute favorite corset design.  I wanted to make a Victorian style corset that looked appealing in a wide variety of Steampunk and Ren Faire ensembles, utilizing my usual patchwork style in upholstery grade chenilles, damasks, and tapestries with all the hourglass curves and durability of a real, steel boned, built to last corset. The top edge is designed to have a curvy sweetheart neckline, plunging slightly at the very front. My patterning is drafted to provide you with a wonderfully figure-shaping, supportive and surprisingly comfortable fit.  This style also makes a lovely, much cooler alternative to bodices with straps on hot days at faire!

You can choose from my Basic Corset option or my Deluxe Corset option. Basic corsets are designed to give you as much support and durability as I can while still keeping the pricing as affordable as possible. I'll be honest, I absolutely HATE torso wrinkles on corsets. They look unprofessional and shoddy. They do nothing flattering for your figure, and they add to wear and tear on fabric. With that in mind, I do have to limit my Basic corset option to corset waist sizes 18"-36". Anything larger will need to go with my Deluxe option in order to get the fit and support necessary for a proper corset. Basic and Deluxe corsets both feature double thickness European steel at the lacing areas and 1/4" wide flat steel all around. Basic corsets will have 16-17 bones, depending on chosen front closure option. Deluxe corsets have 22-28 bones, size depending. They both feature a built in band of heavy duty twill tape at the waist to enable tighter lacing and enhance durability. Basic are lined in cotton twill, Deluxe are lined in cotton coutil, a super strong fabric made specifically for corsetry. Both are lined in my choice of decorative coordinating damasks or cotton twills. You can choose your preference from a solid front, lace up front, or a front busk closure. All corsets have back lacings. Every corset comes with high quality, tipped corset grade lacings.

Upon purchase, I will send you a message to initiate conversation about sizing and your fabric and color preferences. You may choose from my typical patchwork styling, or opt for a single fabric. You may also choose grommet color (brass, nickel, matte black, or antique brass) or stud/hook color if you opt for a front busk closure (nickel, matte black, antique brass, and gold are available). Please note that although I've shown quite a few examples here of my work, my fabric stock changes frequently and I make no guarantees that a fabric combination you see here can be duplicated.

Basic Overbust Corsets are avialable in corset waist sizes from 18" through 36". Sizes larger than 36" need to opt for a Deluxe.

Deluxe Overbust Corsets are available from waist sizes 18" through 48".
