My basic skirt makes the perfect starter skirt for any ensemble. It's designed with simplicity and budgets in mind. It features a drawstring waistband and can be made in any length up to about 42" (for longer lengths in cotton, please inquire before ordering as there may be a price change. Taffeta can accomodate up to about 50" length). This style of skirt is approximately 120" around at both top and bottom, so I don't recommend you layer more than one of these in an outfit as they are a tad bulkier around the waist than my more trim circle skirt styles. This is especially important if you have a waist smaller than 36". It is available in both cotton broadcloth and solid colors of taffeta. In some photos, it is shown tucked up into the waistband.

Garment Care: Machine wash (separately for the first few washes) in cold water on delicate cycle, tumble dry with low heat.  Cool iron when necessary (thread is polyester, please use care when ironing to be sure that you do not put a hot iron on the stitching).
