This sassy little overskirt is simply exquisite! It's made in the Victorian swag-front skirt style with a fully bustled back. The waistband is drawstring, with the drawstring fully tacked down in the front for a flat front waistband and gentle front swags, plus very full gathers in the back, where the drawstring pulls up and ties. The bustling is engineered via a system of ribbon tapes stitched into the back waistband and snaps stitched to both the tapes and to cooresponding points on the skirt back, allowing you to unsnap the bustling for ironing/steaming or for cleaning without having to worry about funky wrinkles that would be virtually impossible to get out without removing the bustling. You can even wear it unbustled for a different look. This skirt looks just as nice worn over another skirt (I recommend my Ruffle Skirts) as it does worn alone with cute tights and heels.

Garment Care:
COTTON SKIRTS: Machine wash (separately for the first few washes) in cold water on delicate cycle, tumble dry with low heat.  Cool iron when necessary (thread is polyester, please use care when ironing to be sure that you do not put a hot iron on the stitching).
TAFFETA SKIRTS: Solid fabrics can be machine washed in cold water on delicate cycle and dried on low heat. Embroidered taffetas MUST be dry cleaned!
DAMASK/BROCADE SKIRTS: Dry clean only.

Available in 2 different sizes, S and L. Small best fits waists up to 32", Large fits waists up to 46". Skirts can be made from cotton broadcloth, solid taffeta, embroidered taffeta, or special order brocade/damask.
